Logansmama
Boxer Buddy
I feel better now...
Logan is 10 mos. old and altho he does have his little bouts of energy, he lives for his naps. When I have read about other boxers who get up so early, I feel so lucky that I'm usually crawling into Logi's crate about 930am and kissin his little squishy face off trying to wake him up.
I've always wondered if it was because he was originally a rescue and kept in a crate 24/7 (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr). Then I worried because he was found to have a heart murmur. My son brings his 8 mos. old boxer over for play dates and the 2 of them drive me absolutely crazy. Neither one of them would think of napping for fear they would miss something. I love it tho cause then I see that Logan is a "normal" puppy, he just loves his naps anywhere in the house.
I'll run an errand and say "Logan, want to go for a ride with mama?" He'll lift his head, stretch his legs and look at me as if to say, "No....I'm napping but feel free to stop and get me something while you are out."...
. I adore my lazy little boy. There is nothing sweeter than seeing him laying in our bed w/his head on daddy's pillow, snoring his little face off so content. I will kiss him or tell him how much I love him and he will barely wake up. Open a banana in the next County and you would think he had a fire under him. Selective hearing maybe?
Happy New Year,
debi
