I'm happy you are getting more answers and more experts to look at the tests that have been performed on Asia to date.
The Holter Monitor is a device, used on people and dogs and cats, to record the heart's rythym over a 24 hour period during different activities. I just read in a medical column this past week in the local paper, this is now being used on cats.
In Lewis's enlarged heart, the lower left ventricle was very rigid, like a basketball, and the heart could not pump blood efficiently.That caused so many other problems and made the diagnosis difficult because of the effect on the bloodwork, especailly the renal panel. Once the Xray was done, and the fluids and size of the heart could be observed, other tests were ordered to determine the damage and course of treatment.
I had lost one cat, Jerri, to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,enlarged heart, that was detrmined by autopsy after sudden death. I had Lewis on meds for three years after his diagnosis, so my vet when listening to Holden's heart, thought it was not quite right. Looking at me and knowing my luck with heart related problems, Holden was set up wiith an appointment with a cardiologist to make sure things were normal. They weren't and we went from there, treating it with meds. Holden had no restrictions and no special diet and his activity level never really changed after the diagnosis. He also underwent ACL surgery less than a year after the diagnosis. He left us exactly as Jerri did.
Yeah it's scary, but you'll be able to help Asia live a normal life and extend it by just knowing something isn't as it should be.

TAylor and I (Taylor , rescued spayed female 5 1/2 yrs old) send kisses and love to all of you. We know what you are going through, please enjoy each other and pet and love each other now. Make sure Asia gets some rest, and you too. Boxers have an amazing ability to pick un on our emotions. I know what you are going through....it is so hard. Taylor has cardiomyopathy, and has been on meds since December 04. Every day, every time I see her, or just pet her, I know I am blessed. ! Enjoy Asia today, and just be sweet to her, they respond to that more than anything.

Haley, I'm so glad you got some "answers" hopefully they can pinpoint exactly what going on and start treating her. I have to tell you I got chills when reading about how our BW family is so supportive and helpful. It amazes me how we can never meet but are so close because of our amazingly beautiful babies! We've been thinking about all of you everyday and continue to give you support! 
You guys must feel so much better getting all that info and at least having direction now. Ahhhhhhhhhh! Give Asia a big fat juicy Boxer kiss from us!! Mark, have a wonderful Father's day with your little princess girl and just enjoy.

I'm so glad that Asia seems to be pretty stable right now. We all have to stay positive. And one thing that you should really be thankful for, is your connections to the vet world. You will know, that if you ever need a truthful interpretation, or more info to understand things, you have them at your disposal. And that in itself has to be a great relief. Stay strong for your baby, she needs you more than ever. Squeeze her tight, and give her more kisses and hugs than she can handle
