I live in Ottawa, Canada where a similar situation occurred a couple of years ago. A boy was bicycling with his dog on a country road when a pick up truck ran over his dog. The boy abandoned his bicycle, picked up his dog and started running home. The boy saw the pickup truck back up to his bicycle, two men got out and threw the bike into their truck... that's right, these scum bags stole the kids bike.
The authorities and media in Ottawa went to extraordinary efforts to find these jerks, but I don't believe they were ever caught.

Some people simply don't deserve to be on this earth!

Well, even if the judge doesn't "throw the book" at this slimeball, there is a bigger Judge who will have the final say later on down the line.

I hope the scum bag ends up in jail and his new boy friends arrange for a meeting with the bigger judge, sooner rather than later.

Oh, I so agree with not letting my child in that house again. If this man can be so violent to an innocent dog, what would he do to an innocent child. I could never live with a man who could be so cruel!

This is just adds to the reasons why I generally dislike people.

I agree. Im not a people person mainly because of things like this. Laws like this really need to be changed because its a proven fact that serial killers start with animals.

About a year ago this man from i believe the province of Quebec somehow managed to kidnap a baby bear from his mom. The bear was in the water and he went by on his jet ski and grabbed it by the ear and dragged it along with him. The bear was eventually saved by bystanders who called the police..and he was let free but i doubt if he found his mom and i dont believe the man was charged with cruelty

I am so angry after reading about that poor puppy! :mad: I have a boxer, a black lab and a beagle. Yes, labs chew everything until they are about 2 years old and then they mellow out a little bit and yes it is frustrating. But to kill a pup for doing what pups do - chew and teethe! Outrageous! This monster is supposedly a father?! Didn't his children go through a teething stage? Didn't they put things in their mouths they shouldn't have and destroy whatever was in their grasp? Why did this imbecile think a baby dog would be any different? And why didn't he give that pup a chance with a family that could have had the patience to train it? All he had to do was go to a rescue or a no kill shelter and drop it off. That poor pup! When I get home I am going to hug my lab just a little tighter and thank God she's with me and not some abusive, selfish, drunken slob!
