I'm near the Eagan area that this man is from and I sooooooo badly want to give this man a piece of my mind. I was so upset when I seen this. The news said that the max is only a year in jail which I think is wrong but I'm just glad that they're doing something. The man did come home drunk, seen the mess the dog made, went upstairs to get his gun then went back down to shoot it and being that he was drunk he didn't kill the poor thing right away, it took all 3 shots before the pup died. Even worst the County Attorney said he could have easily hurt his kids if the bullets would have bounced off the cement being their bedroom was directly above where he shot. His wife actually called the neighbor who called the police, she probably didn't even know what happen. When he was released on bail he was told that he's not allowed back in his home which is good and when they showed him leaving his wife was not with him (good for her). I just keep thinking that maybe this man beat this dog too on occasion and now the poor thing can finally be at peace. I'll never understand how people can expect dogs to be perfect all the time. I hope he rots!!
