Update:

I took Bella to the vet yesterday and it turns out that (during playtime I'm assuming) she hit that part of her head above the eye pretty hard and it caused some bruising, swelling, and inflammation. Her eye was not scratched or damaged and I am giving her some eye drops twice a day. The vet said it should be cleared up withen a week. Thank goodness! I guess we all now know what a dog's version of a black eye looks like.

Poor Bella, I am glad to hear it is nothing serious and should be healed soon!

Glad it was nothing too serious. Their heads seem so hard, I am surprised something actually left a mark!

Good to hear that Bella's eye was checked and is ok. More healing vibes going out to her, and hope that her eye will be back to normal soon.
