It is wonderful!!!
After the first night, we were hooked. We had the entire order on Friday and put it all together ourselves. I have to say that I am glad I didn't pay them to come do it for me. There are a couple of advantages to doing that however, 1) they do all the work, 2) they haul off your old mattress if you want them too. We opted not to go that route, we're fairly handy and have bulky item pick up for free in our neighborhood so we can dispose of the old ones ourselves. We did not find it difficult to put together. It doesn't require any tools and the pieces are not heavy or difficult to handle. It took us probably 1 1/2 hours to get it done and that was with taking breaks and not hurrying. My husband's back pain has all but went away since we've been sleeping on this bed. That is amazing considering he's been fighting it for over ten years. Granted if he moves wrong it will still bother him but as far as hurting every single morning when getting up, that seems to have stopped. My hips have not bothered me at all since sleeping on this bed and we sleep longer & better. Both days this weekend we slept until 8am which never happened before. Generally we were up between 5 & 5:30am each day and irritated cause we couldn't sleep longer on the weekends. Maybe we're just catching up from all the crappy night's sleep we'd been getting on our old bed, I don't know. All I can say is that we are personally pleased with our purchase and would recommend it. I think it's a personal decision according to how you sleep, if you have trouble sleeping with aches & pains, etc or not. I'm sure it works great for some people and not so much for others but we are happy with it and I think I will surely miss it when we go visiting and don't have it to sleep on. One thing I did notice is that you don't feel any pressure from springs or otherwise. I don't even think you realize your feeling then until you sleep on a bed that doesn't have them. My husband says he feels like he's laying on a cloud. We also had a waterbed in the past with seperate bladders....it wasn't even close to feeling as good as this does in my opinion. This also has duel air chambers and when I move he doesn't really feel it and the same when he moves, I don't hardley feel it, that's pretty nice too. We did go the mall and go in and try them, checked out several models and I think that is a great way to start. You can at least have an idea of what your getting before you decide to buy, but again your not obligated for 30 days. If you take it and don't like it, all you pay is the return shipping of $100.00. So I guess that's the most risk you take. We were a little skeptical at first as well..wondering will this be worth this money but all fears subsided now...we love it!
