Bonnie,

I'd GLADLY help to transport these babies to you if it comes to that. I'm sure our friends on the board would also be delighted to get these two to their "forever home"

GOD BLESS ALL YOU ANGELS!!!! angelicon angelicon angelicon

I've been on the edge of my seat!!

I just haven't been able to read these posts fast enough to see the results! I first saw this post under the adoption board yesterday and have been trying myself to find out what I can do to help this little guy. Those eyes are something else! Thank all of you from out of the state and even the country who have wanted to help! I'm in So. Calif. and in a small apartment with my Titus, otherwise, I'd be fostering a whole bunch of these guys! Thank you all for what you have done for these babies. And, Houseofski, maybe we can talk about what we can do opn future rescues at our boxer bash on Saturday! Oh, I wish we could save them all!smashicon smashicon smashicon

Boxer World members are the greatest, kindest, most caring group I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with! I can honestly say that the welfare of the boxer, as a breed and individual, is a better one thanks to all of you.

God bless you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this awesome group.

Yes we can definitley get together and discuss these issues on saturday. You know the other day I was willing to rescue all the way from florida and was so dissapointed when I couldn't. Now I was presented with the opportunity and wasn't able to. I am so upset about that. What happened was that I didn't know I'd have to put another deposit on our place plus another monthly fee. We pay a monthly fee for Cherokee and another would kill us at the present time. I think I will stop looking to adopt and look more into helping all of these boxers that need to get placed. Eventually we will buy a home and we decided to rescue 2 when that happensand leave an open space to foster one as well. In the mean time I am willing to help as much as I can with donations and transports and volunteering at my local shelter. Plus at these get togethers we can all figure out what else we can do.

Rescues are always in need of donations, you'd be amazed at how far $5.00 or $10.00 actually goes :) Most rescues are in constant need of foster homes. No you can't save them all, but each person that agrees to foster one, saves one more. It sounds as if LA Boxer rescue is constantly getting in boxers. I am sure they could use more foster homes and donations. It is great of all of you to think of them. I am sure the many boxers will appreciate your efforts :D

KUDOS!

I am so impressed with all the responses and how everyone worked together and so hard to save the beautiful baby. I too wish there was more I could do. I'd love to foster but know my husband would object mostly because he knows I'd fall in love with every foster and want to keep it and we barely have room for the 2 we have now. I'll check with my local rescue and make a donation. It is so sad that people do think of their pets as disposable.

You all are great! Everyone is so compassionate and concerned and that is wonderful to see. With you all on their side, these babies may have a chance.

LA Boxer rescue does a super job! We, here at Central and Northern Arizona Boxer rescue, are in co-operation with LA Boxer Rescue. Last Sunday 1 of our volunteers did the 6-7 hour drive and brought back 3 or 4 rescues from LA. I have been fostering one of them, a beautiful boy named Fletcher, owner surrender at 5 years old. She is pregnant and gave him up. Hmmmmmm? Do you think when she has the 2nd child she'll give up the first?

Anyway, Fletcher has been hanging out with Rebel, Blue and me. I am happy to report, his forever family is coming to pick him up tonight. So, I will probably get another foster this weekend, Maybe one of these babies we are discussing. Thank you to everyone who cares! Even if you cannot afford the cost or space, your time and love for these wonderful dogs is invaluable!
