I too am horrified at the number of people who seem to give up their pets at the drop of a hat.

Like the woman Marnie mentioned in her message, I too am pregnant, but I wouldn't dream of giving up either of my fur babies unless there was a serious problem to how they reacted to the skin baby. I can't wait to introduce them all though as I think Cassie and Mozart will make fantastic fur brother and sister to our little one!

I would also like to say thanks to everyone who was so willing to help save the cute little fella at the kill shelter yesterday and I'm glad he's going to be okay. I can't imagine he will have to wait long for his forever home and I hope his new owners know about Boxerworld so they can share his story with us and let us know how he gets on.

I am going to email Ursula at LA rescue today to find out how I can send a donation and to let her know that she made a lot of people happy yesterday by picking up the 4 boxer babies from the kill shelter. Hopefully if we all send a little something her job will be easier and she can save even more of these wonderful dogs from an uncertain future.appicon

When you get the information about how we can make a donation to the LA rescue, will you post it for us?

I'm also making a donation to my 2 local rescues....they do such a wonderful job!!!!!!

The LA Boxer rescue web site is at http://www.boxer-rescue-la.com/home.htm , and you can make credit card donations by following the links, or going to http://www.guidestar.org/partners/helping/donate.jsp?ein=95-4636781

I have also emailed the founder, Ursula Sauthier who's email address is ursulas@earthlink.net to say thanks for all the hard work they do at LA Boxer Rescue.

I'm sure that if we all give a little something then it will make a big difference to these poor abandoned boxer babies. I just wish there was more I could do to help all the animal rescue shelters that exist, but I will have to win the lottery first!

LA Boxer Rescue

I donated Zach's airline crate to LA Boxer rescue and what a sad site it was. I stayed there the day and helped walk some dogs.
So what do you guys think about doing that on a Saturday or Sunday? We can have a "BoxerBoard" Resuce day and all meet up in LA and help out? A Boxer Bash for the rescue dogs??
