The first thing that I do in the morning when I get to work is to pull up Boxer Board. I always look for the Josi thread. I hope that she is doing well today and I just want you to know that I think of her every day and hope that she has a good day and not a bad one. I just hope that if I am ever put in your position that I handle everything half as good as you and Brian do. The strength of Josi, you and Brian truly amazes me. Josi keep fighting baby girl there are so many people that have never met you but love you from the bottom of their hearts and we are pulling for you and your mom every step of the way.

Completely Boxer Crazy
I am pleased to post that in true Josi fashion she has rallied again and has been doing great the past two days. Combined with her desire to fight and all our boxerworld buddies prayers, I am just truly amazed by at what I am witnessing on a daily basis. Since the increase in pred. dosage, her swelling and hives have gone away which is worrisome b/c that probably does mean her mast cell cancer is now rearing its ugly face, but the good news is the medicine seems to be working and I am thankful for that. We took Josi for a walk yesterday and when we thought it was time to bring her home b/c her legs get shaky and her gums turn pale...little Miss thing said,"Oh no-I call the shots around here and I am not ready". I kid you not that she dropped her head and sat down in the middle of the road. It was so cute to watch and just shows my time and time again how strong her will to live everyday to the fullest really is. Thank you all for continuing to check in on us, I can't tell you how blessed we feel to have such wonderful friends that we have never met face to face, but feel like we have known forever. I will post again later, promise:)
Gruntsmom-how have you been doing, I think about you daily and how unbearably hard your loss must be. Like I said in my post to you, I hope I am able to handle everything as well as you have when it is Josi's time. Hang in there...

I'm so glad the hives and swelling (which had to have been causing Josi discomfort) have gone down, but am worried with you about the MCT. The moment-to-moment situation is so distressing, not knowing absolutely what is going on inside of her body must tie you in knots. She is a trooper though, no doubt about it, and she ain't gonna let you forget it. ;) It is good that you go with the flow, and savor and appreciate those moments of amazement - they are little heart-to-heart gifts that she is giving you.

I keep you, Brian and your baby girl in my thoughts, and the vibes for Josi are non-stop. I hope she is having a good day today.

You have a very big heart, thank you for thinking of me.
