hi guys!! long time no see! i went out there on saturday morning labor day weekend. i knew i wouldn't be able to make it on sunday. we ran into another boxer (i forget his name) so the two of them stuck together for a while. hopefully, i can go out there this sunday as long as it doesn't rain. i love seeing zeus all pooped out when we get home. it's worth the trip out there.

I think we will be able to see more people at a later time since the days are cooler. I am hoping I can take Mailani out on Saturday and Sunday. I don't have school on the weekends anymore and she is going to love that!

It's been a while since we took Sam out there. He still wakes up bright and early on the weekends waiting to get to go, poor thing. We are going to try to get out there this weekend because we won't be able to next weekend. He loves it so much out there, I wish we could take him more often!

As we were walking out on Sunday Mailani ran into Sammy! So she scruffeled up a little more energy and we went back inside. It was great! The pools look good too. I'm glad they did the renovations (pools and shaded area) now all they need is a restroom of somekind. :D
There were tons and I mean tons of people out on Sunday (it was beautiful weather). And Ms. Lani.......still sleeping! Yay! Mom got some rest yesterday
Also, there were a lot more Boxers out there this weekend. Seems to be more and more out there. One of them actually did semi attack Lani when we walked in (she wasn't barking then) she was playing with a pup (4-5 months old) and the big sister came up and tried to dominate her. My poor Lani she is so submissive that she couldn't understand why the dog kept at her. :(
All in all it was good. She enjoyed herself and I got a semi tan before the weather gets cooler.
PS. On a creepier note. I found out from several people there have been break in's to cars. And this has been happening for quite a while it seems. For what I gathered they target women who leave their cars without purses thinking they left it in the car. So please everyone be careful.
This one lady I talked to (with a boxer by the way) she said now she takes a purse with her even if it just carries her keys and some treats just so those idots can see that she took it in with her.

Really?!?! I never take my purse out there at all, I leave it at home. I would hate to have to start carrying it just so no one will break into my car! That's terrible!!!

I was wondering what time everyone usually met up at Millie Bush on Sunday? I think that Sebastian has figured out that he's not going anywhere and he's starting to show his playfulness. He's not aggressive and I thought he might enjoy some boxer buddies.

It varies. When it is hot I was showing up at 7 - 7:30am. Now since it is a bit cooler. Maybe around 9 or 10. Unless we are specifically meeting at a particular time. Which I think we should....think about doing

It has been a while since I have been on here. I see a few people are concerned about the new pools for their boxers, ie it drops to quick from the side. For some reason my boy loves the new ponds, but didn't like the old one. He carefully treads out to about his chest then takes a flying leap into the deep and is very happy to swim around all day. This is very unusual for a boxer to enjoy swimming. But on the down side my mutt hates the new pools, she used to love running and leaping off the higher sides off the old ones. But, now she just pads around the edge. So, I guess you can't please all the dogs all the times.
