This is horrible and I am a little scared to say it ..but you asked. Little people..I know it sounds bad..I think it was from seeing the Wizard of Oz and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when I was so young. Please,I do not mean to offend anyone...I am trying to get over it.

I was soo busy ranting about the spiders, I almost forgot the other two things that scare me senseless...and I think someone else said this as well--deep water--or at least deep water that I cannot see the bottom--I am terried of going out in deep water if it is not clear enough to see whats under there! oceans or lakes, either one--I hate it! and the other, not really terrifies me, just makes me very uneasy and queasy is knives or razors or anything that can cut me! if I see a scene in a movie involving a knife or someone getting cut--it makes me physically ill--I can use a knife just fine, but it I start to imagine or visualize being cut...*shudder* it makes me dizzy! heaven forbid I cut myself ever--I freak out! the littlest paper cut sends me to to the medicine chest for bandaging and I will keep it bandaged waaay longer than necessary because I can't stand the sight/feel of a cut....!

As I was reading along, I came to Jill. This is me. I don't like deep water, and knives make me queasy. I don't even like to see a sharp knife lying around. You know the big kind that chefs use? It is the same kind used to kill people in movies. I imagine what it does and it makes me sick.

Heights. Ever watch Fear Factor? THAT is enough to let you know your fears! I have to watch once in awhile. When they do the height ones or the gross ones, well, some I have to turn away from. And when they go under water for a length of time...my imagination runs wild.

Gross stories. Why do some people feel like it is necessary to tell every detail?

Bees and wasps. I am better, but when one starts flying around me and I lose track of it, I kinda freak. It is the anticipation more than the sting. If the stupid insect would get it over with, we could all move along in life...or wait, do bees die when they sting?

Sitting at funerals. Having to be quiet and somber wondering if everyone is staring at me. The next thing I will do is laugh.

Boy! I didn't realize what a phobic I am! Some of these are less of a concern than others.

Here I go to a BOXER website, and I end up getting counselling! Love it! LOL

Things that possibly don't exist

Ok - this is really stupid - but my older brother would scare me to death as a little girl. BIGFOOT!! Scares me to death. About once a year I will wake from a dead sleep and know that he is right outside my window. I used to have nightmares when I was a kid. Our old house had a dark area with trees that I had to run past to get to the front door. Sometimes when driving down long stretches of highway at night - I will wait for one to run across the road. I sometimes have trouble going to the bathroom in the middle of the night while camping. I just have to walk fast and not think about it or I will be useless.

When my parents used to go to dinner (this was the 70's mind you) there was always a bigfoot special on. He would watch it, then send me to bed with the "he's going to get you." Made me watch the Legend of Boggy Creek Once and when I saw it as an adult, I figured out where all of the bad images came from.

I know - completely stupid. And my BF is 6'5" and used to have long hair - his nickname was jesus bigfoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moths! Couldn't tell you why - I just get freaked out by them. They are the only things that have ever made me scream out loud.
