It is way to cold! It's -28C. this morning with a wind chill of -40C.The poor pups are not getting any exercise and I think they are starting to go stir crazy. :( They don't want to go out and I can't say I blame them. It is supposed to warm up a little bit next week, but not much. It's not usually this cold at this time of year. Brrrrrr.........

I know!! Down here in Montana it's been -15F for the high! Windchill of -28F! I haven't been able to take my students out for recess in a week! My Darby only goes out when she can't hold it another minute! We have about 15 inches of snow, so we had to move the snow so she could potty without putting her bum in a snow bank!! Expecting 10 above tomorrow, heat wave! Stay safe all!

That is almost as cold as here! I need to snowblow a bigger patch for the pups to go potty in the dog yard. Yesterday, Dante stepped in his poop and tracked it all over the carpet. :( He has a new name, Dante Poop Foot.

Ha ha good name !!!! talking off poop my son threw a ball onto the back lawn for Roge the other day and of course Roge ran too fetch but would not pick it up just stood barking and lightly pawing at it ...turns out it landed on his most recent poop and he would not pick it up !!! surprised the hell out of me because I thought he would go through fire to get a ball ...So if your pups are like Roge I would snowblow a bigger patch or your pups might decide that the house is a better option ha ha..

Graeme finally got the gate open so that he could get the snowblower into the yard. He is clearing a bigger patch as we speak.

Tara, who was an obsessive retriever, wouldn't pick up a ball that was anywhere near a pile of poop! If she had a ball, she would drop it when she pooed, and then refuse to pick it up. Silly girl!

I can't imagine living anywhere that is gets that cold! We went down to 7F and haven't been any warmer than the low 20's in days. We're only going to get about an inch snow tomorrow. As it is Arabella will not go outside unless I go with her. For exercise I throw her tennis ball down the stairs to play fetch.

I was raised in FL and I can't tell you how many of my friends and family were bragging how warm and beautiful it is there. I am counting the days until I leave and get to enjoy some of that warmth.

It's not quite as cold this morning, only -26C. It is supposed to be cold all week. :( The dogs are going to go crazy. Yesterday, Allie came flying threw the dog door and went burning around the house. She just didn't know what to do with herself.

Yikes!!! Hope you all stay warm and it warms up for you and the pups! I don't think I could get through temps like that; I find myself getting extremely cranky when the temp here drops below 50F:(

I would definitely like to relocate anywhere that is consistently 75 or higher; maybe in a few years when hubby retires but then I would be sad to leave my family:(

Really hoping to NOT have to use our snow blower this year!
