I feel for you Jan, as I hate the cold. If it gets to minus 5 degrees celsius I can't cope. Being in the southern hemisphere I have the opposite problem at the moment - keeping cool, or rather keeping Dora cool. Although it hasn't been that hot yet as summer really hasn't really arrived.
Lily loves the cold
I am shocked by how much she loves the snow and cold given that she has so little fur to keep her warm. The other night it was -2 and windy. I can only guess at the dreaded wind chill. I opened the door for her and expected her to find a spot against the house and get right back in. Instead, she bolted and ran a few laps around the yard at full speed.
She does not like the crusty snow of course and when it piles up and freezes she does not get the exercise she needs and can definitely get rambunctious in the house. But she sees to know when she needs it and will exercise herself when she can.
The heat is another thing.....she can't stand it and loves AC.

Great news Jan! Glad you are finally getting them pups some walks in. We had 2 days of Artic Blast on the east coast. Signal digit temps with wind chills below zero. Hasn't been that cold in 20 years. I thought Bode would hate it. Good thing his cute because he isn't that sharp. I was ready to come in long before him and that was without him wears a coat. And now he snow plows... runs 5 steps takes a big ole bite of snow, runs 5 more steps and does it again. His whole face was covered in snow. Silly boy...
December was the 5th coldest on record. It hasn't been this cold since back in the 1800's. The temperatures are looking much better for the next couple of weeks. It doesn't look like there are going to be any temps below -20, so that is a good thing. They should be getting their normal walks.
