Sharon I am so glad that you asked him to leave....I just hope that he does go...if not....I have a 250 Lb. boyfriend that hate abusers with a passion....and we would gladly drive out and throw him to the curb !!!! And then we can finally get to business with your signature !!!!

Wow. That is good news! your community's program sounds great. I hope he just packs up & leaves with a minimum of fuss. But i agree, please be careful.

I know it feels very frustrating now. It took me almost five years before I had had enough from my husband. When I finally got it through to him that either he leave or I would get the authorities involved (and they hate any type of abuse in the very small community) he left. It has been two months now and though my son is having a rough time every now and then, things have not been so calm around our house in a very long time. Please stay strong and stay safe, this to shall pass and you will all be the better for it.

Stay strong, it is very hard to go thru hard times but like so many have said it's worth it in the end. Everything does happen for a reason, if you hadn't gone to the hospital you wouldn't have meet this wonderful lady. I am so happy that you will be helped and will be able to stay where you are.

I am so glad that the community shelter was able to offer so much support. We are keeping fingers and paws crossed that DH (your use of the term!) is out within a week. I am so glad you are doing this for yourself Best of luck that everything goes smoothly, and you always have BW for support if they don't.
