Need prayers for my SuzyQ

My baby suffered two seizures this weekend - am on the way out the door to her vet. I thought she was a goner for sure, the emergency vet I talked to seemed to think that she would be ok, but I was absolutely freaked out. We have been so blessed with her health, this is the first time in the six years we have had her that she is going to the vet for anything but her yearly shots, heart worm etc. Please send good thoughts our way - I have been a nervous wreck and couldn't sleep last night for worrying about her. Knew everyone here would know how I feel.

Many healing vibes ,prayers, wiggles, lovins and hugs are coming your way. You must have been scared to death, you poor mama. Does the vet have any idea what caused the seizures or is something you are still waiting to hear from them? I hope you SuzyQ doesnt have anymore!!!.

Just got back from the vet. She drew blood and got a urine sample to rule out a list of things that may cause the seizures (liver problems, things I can't remember the name of). Although the vet doesn't think that it is any of those as her health has been so extraordinary. She checked her heart (sounded great) looked in her eyes, nose, ears - all look good. She said SuzyQ might be having epileptic seizures, but the spells were so short in duration that she doesn't think medication is justified at this time. We have to keep an eye on her, her doc hopes they were isolated incidents and that she won't have any more. Even though it isn't a cut and dried answer, it seems that I am more freaked out than anyone else. SuzyQ thoroughly enjoyed her ride and she always loves going to the vet, she doesn't care if they stick her with needles or not. I feel much better and it is so nice to have a place to vent, where people don't think you are crazy. Thanks everyone. If anything else develops, I will keep everyone posted.

Sending loads of healing and positive vibes for Miss SuzyQ!! I'm so sorry to hear about her seizures (you must have been terrified!) - glad to hear that everything looks good after the vet visit, and that she is acting and feeling OK. Hope it was just a one time thing!
