Nearly 7

Well Waldo is closing in on 7 years old . We have been spending a lot of time with my parents, due to their age/medical appts., and Waldo has become very attached to my Dad and vice versa. Anyhow he is the first dog to ever get away with this.

Waldo knows how to make himself comfortable for sure. "They are not arm rests, they are head rests"

Boxers love their comfort. Head rests are definitely important.
Its hard to believe that he is almost 7 already.

He went for his 6 month checkup today. Got his kennel cough vaccination and a blood and worm test. He loves going to the vet except for the worm check. Anyhow he is back at his optimum 75 pounds from the previous 78. She did confirm that it looks like he is developing arthritis in his right hip.

He looks like he is in good shape. Allie is going to be 8 on April 28th. She is getting a little stiff in her old age, especially when she gets up. She still runs around like a crazy girl when she is outside.

It is possible that Waldo has torn his left ACL in the hind leg . Add that to the arthritis in the right hip and walking is minimal. Just when I plan to board him for two weeks at a vets.

Sorry to hear about Waldo's ACL. Maybe kennel rest will do the ACL some good.

I plan to start him on arthritis medication when I get back.
