get together and see how big of a group and how
serious everyone is as far as meeting. I am OK with paying $15.00
one time but I know that buying a permit for us will not work because we would not go to Naperville often enough. As in previous emails, I agree with the suggestion to take turns meeting in different parks to be fair to the ones that have to drive farther.
Just let us know when and where!
This permit covers 7 dog parks in Dupage County. 2 in Naperville, 1 in Warrenville, 1 in Glendale Heights, 1 in Hanover Park, 1 in Oakbrook, and 1 in Wayne (As their website states). These are kind of spread apart so the Boxer Bashes will not always be in Naperville (unless we all decided that was the best place to meet in Dupage). In one of my previous posts I suggested that we can all meet once a month at different parks. If you choose to purchase a permit, thats great. I know purchasing a permit is obviously money out of our pockets but this is an opportunity to let our dogs have fun and play with other Boxers. We go to the parks at least every other day and so far I have yet to see a boxer. Obviously I wouldn't advise to buy a permit if you aren't serious about meeting once a month at minimum and if you only plan on meeting this once because that would be a waste of money. I hope we get a decent turn out and if we don't, well at least we tried.
When: Well so far I've seen more requests for the 17th (but we'll be there the 18th also in case someone can't make the 17th.)
Time: 10 a.m. (This way it's not too hot for them)
Where: Greene Valley Forest Preserve (Location is on the website-This one is completley fenced in and has fresh water for the dogs)
Anyone have some type of a scheduling conflict and wants to adjust something with timing or date- Just let us know.
