I know for sure that DuPage County requires permits in all the parks. I am not sure about Will or Cook though. I don't think the permits are that much and I believe they're good for a year. The Oakbrook park isn't bad at all. Of course I haven't been able to actually SEE the Naperville park because I wasn't allowed in (right Krystal? ;) ), but I used to go to the Oakbrook park all the time. I personally think the size is fine because for the most part you can keep a good eye on your dog, yet allow him/her to roam around..it's plenty big as far as I'm concerned. I might be able to make Saturday, but Sunday is definitely out. I'm concerned, however, that I won't be able to make it out during the week to pick up a permit!! Any suggestions?

I think that you can call them and fax a copy of your rabies certificate? May I ask why you were not allowed to go to the one in Naperville? I am curious?

That stinks! I think that there is a Dog Park on Naperville Road just south of 75th street? Do you need a permit there?

thats the park we were at we needed a permit, i know its a bit of a hike but the dog park down here by me needs a permit but they dont check....

THe park in Hoffman needs a permit but I think there are some around that you don't need one...How about the Chicago Parks???
