I'm thinking of bringing Buford to the park on Saturday and Maisy's owner Scott, will bring her over too, will you be there? Anyone else? We want to see more boxers!!

Well, to tell you the truth, I only got Buford a permit for one day, and I didn't get one for Maisy at all. When I called the park district the woman I talked to made it sound like they never check. I probably won't get one, but obviously I wouldn't want to reccommend that you don't - then have the park district police show up or something! I'm not sure what the fine is for not having one, and they may start checking more often since it just went into effect on July 1st. I really think that it's lame that you need one which it why I don't think I'm going to give them anymore money! I'm pretty sure that the parents of the kids that go to the park down my block don't need a permit! In any case, I'll be there next weekend!

We'll definitley be there on Saturday! I'm glad you're going again. What time were you thinking? 9 a.m. sound good so it doesn't get too hot??

I checked the weather for saturday and it's supposed to be really nice, in the lower 70's. I think I'll be there about 9:30 - Scott will be there with maisy at about 10:00.

Sorry we didn't show up, my husband was away for the weekend and although he was supposed to be home by 8 or 9am, he didn't get home till 12.30pm. I was up at 8.30 and everything , I got ready and sat and waited, and waited. His cell was off (dead battery apparently) so I had no clue what he was doing. I fell asleep by 11.30 =/ When he got home at 12.30 we figured it'd be too late. Ah well, there will be other times - when we actually have a Boxer . Btw we are getting him in 5 weeks, and are calling him Wilson. I just posted about that in the naming section if you wanna read it :D

We have to go earlier. I totally forgot that we have a 6 hour drive to Michigan that morning. We'll be there at 7am or 730am. :( I know most of you won't be there that early but we can't come any later this Saturday. We'll be back in town during the week and the next weekend at a "reasonable" time

Yeah 7:30 is a little early for me! I just posted below b/c Buford is sick, (he ate a bunch of grapes and is not feeling so hot) so we may/may not show. As long as he's feeling better we'll be there! Just wondering- where in MI are you going? I grew up in Michigan and we're going over next month to get married, (again)! Long story, but we had to have two weddings!

I am going to be at the Naperville Dog Park the one on Greene) this Saturday 7/31 at 11:00am. I was out of town for my birthday the 18th and I missed the last Boxer Bash. I called the county and they said that if your dog has its rabies shot that is good enouph. They also said that you should get a dog licsence from your town. I live in Lisle and it was free. Just fax them a copy of your rabis certificate. And they sent me a tag in the mail. If anyone is interested in meeting me there, let me know.

Hi! Well, since Buford was so sick, we couldn't do the dog park. I'm going to take him this coming Saturday though, (the 7th) probably around 10am. Hope to see you there!
