My MIL was NOT amused w/ Layla's t-shirt!!

My DH and I have been married for 9 yrs now and my MIL wants grandchildren more than anything. DH and I also wanted children but time(he travels for a living!) and age(35) is not really on our side! Layla is most definitely our baby(as I know you all can relate!) So when I found the most perfect pink t-shirt for Layla to wear on Easter, I just couldn't resist. You should have seen the forced smile on my MIL's face when Layla came running to greet her wearing her t-shirt that said, " I AM the grandchild!!!" It was priceless!!!

That's cute, I like it! My Dad had a bumper sticker that said "Ask me about my Granddog." People would run up to his truck laughing and want to know where he got the bumper sticker. Where did you find the shirt?

Believe it or not I got the t-shirt at Linens-n-Things of all places. I bought it a few months ago, where at the time they had a bunch of dog novelty items they were selling and the t-shirts were part of it. I had been saving the shirt ever since, just waiting for her to visit!!!

You go Girl! I think that's fantastic, wish I could have been a fly on the wall. I bet the look on her face was worth a million. My parents are called Grandma & Grandpa to our precious Coco too. They don't mind. We do have two children also but Coco minds much better, never talks back and doesn't get in trouble at school. What more could you ask for from a granddog??? Hee hee
