I would love to have one of those shirts too..... As it is when my gerbils have their litters I call my grandmother and kid her about being great, great grandma... She giggles and always asks how many this time.... I don't think anyone in my family (parents) has a problem with furgrandbabies vs. skinkids....
They do tend to mind better and more often than not are cuter...

"Grandpa" says that he doesn't like dogs; however, I caught him asking Tyra if she was going to go out on the front porch with him last week. I got quite a giggle out of that one!

My dad's the same way. He claims to not be a dog person but when we took Maggie home with us for the first time, Dad had a blast. Every time he came into the house and Maggie would stand there kidney beaning like crazy, he'd say "Hey there hound dog" (his nickname for her) or something to that effect. In truth, he doesn't treat her much different than his skin grandsons!

My mom also refers to our pets as the grandcat and granddog - she gets a kick out of telling people at work that she's going to visit the grandpets! Luckily, no pressure for skinkids here - if anything, both my parents and the in-laws would prefer us to wait a little bit before trying for kids, which goes nicely with our own plans. Definitely feel lucky about that!

I love it!!
We just got our newborn skin a baby a bib that says "I love my
big sister." His big sister is Nestle. We also included her on
the birth announcement... "proud big sister, nestle"

Alot of people think we are all nuts but they just can't understand
until you have a boxer baby!!!!
