Saffie is my only child (Furbaby) and she calls my mum and dad gran and grampa..... granted i get strange looks from people when i shout at the dog come on we are going to grans!!!

My parents finally about a year ago accepted the fact that I will never have skinkids of my own and adopted Ikaika and Mailani as their furgrandchildren.
Of course now the rest of the family thinks we are crazy. Tho, it does make me feel good to hear my mom call them her grandchildren too. :D

I need one of those T-shirts too! Tyra goes with us almost everywhere. She now knows "grandma" and "grandpa" very well. "Grandpa" says that he doesn't like dogs; however, I caught him asking Tyra if she was going to go out on the front porch with him last week. I got quite a giggle out of that one!

No skin kids in our future here...my parents are quite happy being grandparents to 4 furkids...my MIL keeps pushing for grandkids even though she already has 2 from my brother in law and his wife.

I want a shirt like that!!! My only daughter (Mia the boston) would look so cute in one. Then I would need a blue on for Rocky as well. She & Rocky are just as much my kids as my sons and my parents feel the same way!

That is absolutely hysterical! I wish I could have been there to see your MIL's face! My parents have *very* happily accepted the roles of Grandma and Grandpa. My dad always says, "Toffee, come give Grandpa a hug!". I love it! They also call me "Mommy" when they are talking to Toffee about me (as in "give Mommy kisses"). It's great
