Oh Pam,
I know how hard this is. It's been a year and 6 months since I lost Caesar and I still cry. I see things that remind me of him and it makes me break down.
There are no words that can make this pain go away and in time it does get easier but I'm not sure the pain really ever goes away. Please know we are all here for you. I know Ginty is smiling down on you thankful for her wonderful life with you and Andy

angelicon We all Miss You Sweet Ginty.

Its over a week now since my darling Ginty left me........... but I can still hear her at night, and feel her presence, even her beautiful boxer smell.... yesterday I scattered grass seed over her favourite peeing place, tears streaming down my face, picturing her in her last few days struggling up the garden to pee. I kiss her photo everynight... how I miss my girl...
Run free my angel...... there will never be another like you. My heart is breaking your mum misses you every second of every day.

Pam,..... you must be sick of seeing my name by now, but I have to reply to your heartbreaking posts...I feel such empathy with you..Yes I've been there, feeling what you do right now, Many others here will tell you the same...Blizzy Kiddo, and Rocky to name a few..They are all at the bridge, gone but not forgotten...each leaving behind a love that will never be erased by time, they are all with your Ginty, and my Poppy,.

At this moment in time, I know you think that no-one, can possibly understand your heartbreak, and the sad, dark, days you are living through without your beloved Ginty.....You HAVE to go through this time, it hurts, and it's hard and It's not fair, believe me I know.. it's called grieving...It's hard, and almost cruel, I hated the way I felt, I hated having to live without Poppy, It wasn't fair...Suddenly everywhere I looked, other people seemed to have young, healthy dogs, and worst of all, was when I saw someone with a Boxer...The pain was indescribable, as I wondered if my beloved Boxer was somewhere else, looking down at her family...Was she happy? was she free from pain.?..Had I been a good mum, for all those long years she had been like a baby to me?...All I knew was the pain and aching void of her loss. but you will come out of the other side...

I look at her photo's now, and laugh at the happy times we had...I revel in the fact that I believe she sent me Millie, a puppy, not to replace her, or her memory, but to enhance the love that she gave me in the breed, and to let me know, that her presence on earth had given me the knowledge and experience to go on and make a wonderful mum to another like her...Remember all the stuff they do when they are young??...First time round It's all such a shock, but when you've been there before..Well you can't fool us Boxer experts!!!...

Listen Pam...We care, because we understand..If you've shared your life with a Boxer, you've loved a Boxer...Simple fact..They take a place in your heart....We all understand,..Cry, Think of Ginty, and one day the hole in your heart will begin to mend.....Take care, and know that Ginty loves you, and we are always here to support you..(((((hugs)))))) XX

Thankyou for your kind words , I can feel the warmth and understanding though you all...........it is very difficult to speak at home.... my husband has been ill.... and ole Ginty once again was my rock while my husband was in hospital, as fragile as she was... she seemed to understand my fear, kissed my tears away... tried to woof when the doorbell went, nuzzling up to me to comfort me. She waited for my husband to come out of hospital on the Saturday night....before leaving me on the Sunday, as if to say you will be OK now mum. What a girl..... I miss her every second..... Sunday I cooked roast chicken, I kept looking for her cheeky face peering around the door... as if to say hurry up with the dinner mum, the house seems so empty and clean !!!!!! My husband doesnt mention Ginty... so BoxerWorld is the only way I can show my grief...although my husband is in bed still not well, so I am alone a lot of the time...and can sob my way through the day. Please be happy Ginty....your mummy loves and misses you so.

Pam..I feel your pain...I remember the long lonely nights I sat on the sofa years ago when they told me I had a malignant growth in my leg.....Jeez I was so scared, but hey, this is me...I'm tough I don't cry, I can cope...Or so everyone thinks....Poppy knew better, she used to sit next to me as I sobbed in the midnight hours, when no-one could hear me cry...She'd bury her head in my chest, and I'd cry in her soft fur...She'd raise her head to lick away my tears, and kiss my hands as I tried to keep my sobs and fear secret from the rest of my family...She was my angel and confidant, and got me through those horrible dark days...She was there for me, and carried the secrets of my soul...I know She helped me cope...So how then, would her passing separate us??...Same with you and Ginty, You were meant to have her in your life...There was a purpose....She was put here to be with you.

You gave her love, she gave you the same...Be happy for that, and know she has not left you..She is waiting...It'll be a long time, but you will see her again one day..until then her love is with you always....Ginty look after your mummy angelicon

I'm crying as I read your posts, the pain is so terrible I know.
We adopted Reilly in January, who we adore, but I still cry for Morrissey. I can be in the car, the shower and suddenly it hits me and I have to cry and cry. As others have said, it's that horrible thing called grieving that we have to go through. I can't look at Morrissey's picture without crying, one day I hope I can. This site really helps me, knowing that others know how I feel.
Be sure Ginty is always with you, and she is okay now and healthy, you will see her again...many hugs to you, take care, Kate.

Today was a lovely sunny spring day, the birds singing everything seemed so perfect....... apart from the emptiness , today was the kind of day my darling Ginty loved.... she would climb on her bench in the garden and snore content with her life. The apples are are still in the fruitbowl.... the last apple I ate I put the apple core on the coffee table and cheeky Ginty walked past and ate it, everything I do reminds me of her, hoovering around her big ole body, she would never move. I cleared my greenhouse out today ready to start planting seeds, every year Ginty has been underfoot and I have shooed her out......... Oh how I wish she had been there today. I am sure things will get easier....... sorry to go on... but I am just so lonely.
