Boxer Pal
Hi all - I've got a vet appointment scheduled tomorrow, but am pretty shook up right now and trying to figure out what's going on with my pup before then. Any insight would be great.
Mieszko is a 7 yr old, brindle boxer, neutered. He's been fairly healthy his whole life, at least nothing too major. Anyway, today as my wife and kids were walking in the door, he fell right in the middle of all of us - knocking my 3 year old daughter into a door frame. He laid there and wouldn't even try to get up until I picked her up and out of the way (what a good boy!), and then he righted himself and went on with his day, seemingly fine. I chalked it up to a slippery tile floor and the chaos that always happens whenever he greets us.
Later today, I came home from work, and was setting the table for dinner. I threw Mieszko a piece of cheese without really even looking, which he caught, and the next thing I knew he was prone on the floor. It happened so fast that I didn't even really see it happen. He laid there for not even five seconds, and then hopped back up as if nothing happened. He ate just fine tonight, drank, and went outside no problems. Everything looks perfect with him, other than that he fell over twice today for no apparent reason.
I have an appointment with the vet tomorrow (two actually - trying to see who I can get in to first!), but am just freaked out waiting until then.
I've searched the forums, but most of the cases I've seen have been heart related and it really didn't seem like that - he just fell.
