Boxer Booster
As some of you know, we lost our Mick suddenly and unexpectedly. We have had a boxer in our family for over 15 years and they are part of everything we do. An empty house just wouldn't do....we were miserable and the house was so quiet, so despite the fact it had not been long, I went on an intensive search for a new family member. I was very fortunate to find a rescue one State away that was willing to let us adopt. Our local rescue facilitated the home visit and supported our adoption from another rescue - for which I am extremely grateful. We made a 12 hour round-trip trek to get our new boy. We extended his original name - he is now Maxxwell "Cooper" - giving him a new name and new life. What a blessing - he fits into our lifestyle perfectly. I can only hope he is as happy as we are! We can never replace our lost fur-babies and we still shed tears over Mick (and Roxy), but I hope I will always have room in my heart to experience the love of another boxer.

Meet Cooper....
to you all..... I must say he is a handsome feller and I love the one black toenail
What an absolutely gorgeous boy! Congrats to you all! I have said it before, losing a furbaby puts a hole in our heart that can never be filled, but getting a new one only makes our hearts grow bigger, so the hole doesn't seem as big. Congrats again!
