loved it!

We just watched this movie last night and we both loved it! I thought it was amazing. All the layers and dynamics of the movie were so well put together. Excellent movie indeed!

I'm not sure that is exactly what he said at the end. I believe its supposed to be confusing for a reason. We even put our subtitles on to see if that said what he was saying and the only thing that came up was "whispering". So I believe not knowing what he said is how the director wanted the movie to end. It goes along with the theme.

Again I loved it!

Yep, one of those endings to leave you guessing. :)

Barb...I don't know that I would recommend Cabin Fever unless you like hearing the F word like 800 times.
I let my 14 year old son rent it:(

I agree with you Olly. I kept waiting (very, very patiently since it moved so S L O W L Y ) for them to get to the point of the film. They never did.

The only thing I saw about Bill Murray which was interesting in this film is the fact that he is getting O L D and showing it.

The young girl was about as boring as watching paint dry. Ho Hum.

Wonderful photography however. That was the only thing I really enjoyed about the movie.

I for some reason, envision him telling her that they will meet up again in Los Angeles. Maybe keep in touch or something. The director purposely doesn't allow you to hear what he whispers to her, but that is what I want to believe.

Great Movie! Bought the DVD

I've been trying to rent this so that I can give my 2 cents but it's always out - and the store has about 20 copies!! Recently rented and was very dissapointed in "Cruel Intentions," was moved by "Mambo Italiano," hated "Swimming Pool," and now I'm in the middle of "Sylvia," kinda depressing movie!! I'll try again today to rent "Lost in translation."

Saw it, didn't like it

I was very dissappointed in this movie. There was no chemistry between the two leading characters, Bob and Charlotte. Bill Murray looked more like her grandfather than a potential fling frogicon I've heard so many people love it, I kept waiting for the film to improve. It should have been called "Insomnia" cause this movie's the cure  Maybe it's just not my kind of film

Barb, I don't think there was supposed to be chemistry in the romantic way between them. I think it was more like two people lost and they were both sort of soul searching, Charlotte with a husband who was always gone and leaving her alone and Bob who seemed to be having his own problems with his wife by not being home and still trying to work by doing commercials instead of acting. I think it was deeper than a love story an impossible romance but more of a friendship they found in each other.

I think at the end he whisipered in her ear we each have

"More than this"!

Just my opponion, I really liked it!
