Has anyone seen that movie with Bill Murray? If so, did you understand it?

Hey I saw it this weekend. And nope we didn't understand it either. It was so strange...kinda like one of those movies you have to finish till the end to see if you can make sense of it.
What was the big deal when they said good-bye.....Worst movie I have ever seen Bill in.
I did rent "The Core"& "Keep it in the Family" and these two movies were Great!!!

I have to say - we saw it in the theatre and LOVED it. Needless to say, we bought the DVD this past week, when it was released.

I really thought that it was one of Bill Murray's BEST roles ever!!

I thought it was very very slow and the story too predictable. I loved the sound of his cellphone though

Funny you should ask abou this today!! This morning on the radio station that I listen to every morning was discussing which movies were good and which ones should have a "don't rent" lable on it. Lost in Translation was one that was recommended to just leave at the store. :rolleyes:

I had no interest in seeing this movie before, but after hearing all of these bad reviews, I have even less of a desire to see it.

Bad reviews? I haven't heard one negative thing about this movie, that's so funny. Wasn't it nominated for a whole bunch of awards? I'm excited its out on DVD now! I will rent it this weekend. :D

Andie, I meant bad reviews from the "normal people" not critics. :p I very rarely agree with what the critics say about stuff so I pay more attention to what the average person says.

I was talking about normal people too. I have a lot of friends who saw it and really liked it. I don't listen to critics either but I swear it did get nominated for some awards.
