Hey there Mugsy and Allison,
Sorry it has been so long since I've been on. So many things have happened and as I'm sure you know there is never enough time in one day!
I have spent the last hour reading and catching up on you guys! I'm soooo glad to here things are still going well! I love the album and the new pics in your gallery. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and Mugs! More so lately then ever; as Dexter has gone through some very minor things, and has another vet appt. on Mon to look at what I believe is a cyst on the tip of his ear! Ohhh how I admire you're strength and have sincerely missed reading your posts. Once again I will be waiting eagerly as we all do watching for your next one!

I started a new job this week and something came up on the computer that reminded me of you. One of the accounts in the system is a practice account and I needed to come up with a "nickname" for it well the real name is Mickey Mouse so I nick named it Big Ears...then you and Mugsy popped into my head.
So here I am...if you see this I would love to here from you and here how things are going.

It's so funny that you mailed the other day! I have my email and forgot to update here, so I didn't get the message that you had posted. I can't believe how big Dex is, and Cali is a precious peanut (so cute, I'm welling up)!!! Congrats on your new baby, and I hope the new job is treating you well.
Anyhow, I've been holding out on posting anything until today because...TODAY IS MUGSY' S 6TH BIRTHDAY!!!!
My man is doing great (he's peeking in the doorway as I sit and type), despite occasional "episodes" of this or that. He is in such a good mood today, and has been showered with treats and special meals. Treatments with the holistic vet are going well, swim is great, and Mugsy is enjoying frisbee playing and squirrel chasing--in his own special way, of course. His paws are status quo; his bark is a bit deeper; he is a happy guy, and for that we are truly blessed.
I hope this update finds all of our fur and skinfriends well! We are still here, and hope to be around for many more August 8ths!

I'm SOOOO glad you finally posted as you have been our thoughts as always and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MUGS!!!
Today, August 8th, was also my due date(first skinkid that is!) and while it doesn't look like the lil beaner is coming today, it would have been great sharing this special day with Mugsy!
