It's been a while...

Hi all. I can't believe I haven't been on since October! Well, so much has happened, and none of it really good. Our little "family" disbanded in January and Mugsy, Shadow and I have moved in with my parents. It's a bit crazy with 6 people and 4 dogs in one house, but I am so thankful that we had somewhere to go. We were all adjusting well until recently when I noticed Mugsy was exceptionally clingy. I also thought he was moving his hind end differently. A visit to the vet confirmed my worst fear...it looks like the nerve damage may be spreading into his back feet. Mugs also had a suspicious mass aspirated, and we are awaiting biopsy info on that. My little man turns 7 next week--on the same day of my first divorce court appearance. I can't imagine losing him now, or any time soon, but as always, I will leave the decision to him. I am hoping that this is yet another passing phase of his illness, and am doing my best to think positively. Usually I wait until Mugsy's birtday to post, but he could use a few pre-b-day vibes.

Sorry to have been away for so long. We hope all of our BW friends are well.

I don't post much around here lately either as I had a baby girl, Ava, who will turn 1 on Aug 15th, who keeps me VERY busy, but I always check in hoping for an update on Mugsy.

I'm sorry to hear of your personal struggles as well as Mugsy's new incident. Keep your chin up as you have done in the past and just be the great Mom to your boys as you have always been.

I am new to this forum and have just read this entire thread. You are an inspiration for all of us in all of the wonderful things you have done for Mugsy over the years! I believe that God sent him to you because he knew you would take care of him! I'm just SO very sorry to hear that everything is not working out for you in your personal life. You deserve every happiness.

I will be watching for news from this thread from now on! You and Mugsy are in my thoughts and prayers. Stella and I (and the rest of the gang) send sweet puppy kisses to you both.
