Clean margins make mama happy!

The vet just called to let me know that the follow-up biopsy came back clean. Mugsy is himself again--with 11 stitches to show off. He also had extensive dental work. His gums looked like cauliflowers (gingival hyperplasia I believe it is called) so we had his teeth and gums addressed while he was under anesthesia. All is well. Last night, he even found himself lured into the kitchen by the smell of cheese on the counter. He stared at it and puffed (which he does because he can't make a crying sound with the LP) until I went in and honored his request. That has not happened in over a year! So thanks for all those extra vibes; they worked wonders, as they always do!

Taryn, Layla, and all of our BW friends--

I have not been on in a long while myself. Our hard drive crashed, so we were without PC for some time. Then, the whirlwind holiday season came upon us, and things have just been crazy! I truly felt like the holidays came and went without me--never really got to sit back and enjoy. I actually sent DH out to a party without me so I could do some catching up today. Paying some bills would be a good start, I'm guessing.
Anyhow, Mugsy is doing GREAT! We played tug o' toy in the yard today. He can almost stand on his left paw correctly, but the right is still dragging. I'm not sure if I ever posted that we started seeing a holistic vet in PA in November. She has only done one treatment of JMT, along with some acupuncture and a chiropractic adjustment, but the changes already have been so encouraging.
I treated myself to a digi-cam (finally) a few days before Christmas, so one of my goals is to get some new photos in my gallery. Hmmm...probably would be more fun than paying bills...

It is great to hear that things are going great with Mugsy. That was very good news. i have been thinking about not seeing you post anything on him. I was afraid that things hadtaken a turn for the worse. I am so glad that I am wrong.
