I Miss My Tall, Dark, Handsome Jake

I am missing my tall, dark, handsome Jake who went to the bridge today. He was 5 and diagnosed in July with Mass cell tumors. I have 3 other boxers, but they do not fill the void. Jake was probably the best, all around dog, I have ever had. How sad that we have to give them up, but at a young age is even worse to me. I feel so empty without him. Jake was one in a million and will always be missed.

Thanks everyone for your condolences and well wishes. My other dogs are so extremely quiet tonight, I guess they know something is not right. We had company while ago and they did not get wound up as they normally do. I couldn't believe they were behaving.

I so hope Jake is running at the Bridge having a good time, he deserves it with everything he has been through.
