How and Why did you decide on your boxers name?

The BF and I just liked the name Roxie. It was originally going to be Peaches but Roxie fit her better. Then it turned out that Roxie was a very popular Boxer name! When we got the new pup we had to find a name that would suit him. He was such a booger when we picked him up. A complete mess. So we named him Konan after Konan the Barbarian! It fits him perfectly!!

My Marley

I just recently adopted a 2 year old female fawn boxer.. as many of you have seen Marley and me I'm sure.. The dog is rambunctious and nuts!.. Just hopefully not the same ending:(.. But I love her and she is great with my other boxer (Dixie) who was named such because I just love the name!:D

Story on how my baby girl got named

My baby girls name is Meega & that definitely wasn't planned. I would have never thought of that name, . I thought it would be cute to name her Molly or something else not so different like Meega.

Anyway in the car I was naming off names & said I wanted to name her Molly my BF said no way & she wasn't even listening as she was to busy licking & trying to bite his watch off, . We started to talk about that & I asked the name brand of it & it was Omega, but he said it's pronouned O-Me-ga & everytime I said it my baby girl would look at me & I didn't like the O at the begining so I call her Meega ( did it with two E's so people know it's Me-Ga & not Mega). As I tell everyone it's the only thing she would listen to

we adopted Sadie and kept the name.......she was so much fun and is such a good girl we decided to adopt a puppy. We could not agree on a name, so we decided to go out and get an iced coffee. We ordered Mochas. The iced mocha looked like our new puppy. She has a white muzzle that looked like whipped cream. The black sprinkled through looks like chocolate drizzle, and she is fawn colored. Hence the name "Mocha."

The person I got her from had been calling her brownie. I didn't care for the name. One night I was watching tv and the dasiy sour cream commercial came on. My mom and I looked at each other as we both said "Daisy." So it kinda stuck.LOL!!!

We were looking for a name that had a security theme

I knew boxers were supposed to be 'guard dogs' so I said how about 'Padlock'? As in put the padlock on the gate and that is how he got his name. Our old boxer was named Ruger, (a german gun maker) and we chose it for the same reason. Padlock fits his name too, nobody gets near his gate.

My son races quarter midget cars and he and my husband are really into racing so we have -
Torque as in torque wrench, and Cam-mee, is girly for camshaft. They are our new "pit crew".

I had been kicking around different names for her for awhile and was hung up on two that I liked. I couldn't decide on which one, so I called my friend and asked if he would come over and bring his daughter with him. When they showed up, I asked his daughter which of the two names she liked best and she said ABBY. So that how ABBY got her name.
