We used to have 2 pure siberian huskies. Shayna, the mother, was 13 and Dakota, the son, was 11. They passed within a year of each other. After losing them we couldn't bear to get another husky. We had decided that if we got anymore dogs that we would just get small lapdogs and we would call them Sugar and Spice. My brother went and got a mixed breed shepard, lab, border collie and we found out that there were 11 in the litter and we fell in love with the runt so we got her and called her Sugar (I still call her Shayna sometimes by mistake cause they're both my baby girls). Then my youngest brother decided to get a boxer. I went with him to see them and fell in love instantly with a fawn male. He couldn't be a Spice (obviously) so I wanted to find something that would go with Sugar's name. I came up with Cain. Now we have Sugar and Cain. Different breeds have different traits and although I will never stop missing my beautiful huskies, and I love my Sugar pie, I wouldn't trade my boxer, my little man, for anything.
