ok... there is a tentative 2nd person for me. And as for food i'm sure i can bring something yummy. Are we going to have sit down tables even?? Because what's the use in yummies if they're on the floor? The dogs will get them first! This may have already been mentioned and I just missed it, but I think it's definitely worth checking out. Also, I think the idea of us all buying a little something from PetSmart or doggy store (1 item per dog we bring) and then doing a gift exchange sounds really fun!

I'm up for any date and time... But there is 3 people and one dog coming. I wouldn't want to count grandpa out... He would feel bad. I don't mind bringing a toy for doggies or paying cover charge at that.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to post lately... We had some personal problems, but we're all good now, so I'm back and ready to jump back into everything.

I haven't had any luck so far finding a place that is suitable, I found one that we may be able to get but it is only 900 square feet and doesnt have a reception area. Is it possible to move the date to January? that way the christmas rush will be over with and we can have it as a new years bash? let me know what you think (any saturday in January is fine except the 15th) Please let me know. I am also looking into some community centres but so far no luck :(

we may have a place

Ok I found another place, it is in Guelph however, so that changes things slightly. Guelph is only 15-25 min drive from KW. I will be going to look at the facilities probably after I return from Alberta on tuesday so I may go look either that night or wednesday. The rental is cheap, we would have to sign waivers. It is a dog training school HOWEVER there would be no staff there and we would be responsible for cleaning the place when we are done. The rental is $70 for the afternoon which is great. She said it isnt huge but she has had socials there before, but she had 8 dogs there and it was fine. She also said she has had up to 11 in there, I will look at it and see if its big enough for us and I will keep my eyes out for another place to rent.

My 2 probably wont be able to come as Sable has had some aggression issues lately and that spurs Tyson to act up, so we are at 14 I think (last I counted) I am not going to ask anyone to not attend. If the facility is not large enough then I will keep looking.

That really sucks about the facility not being available!!! Oh well, if we have to wait until January it will probably be for the better. I have no plans for that month, so when ever where ever is fine with me!

Perhaps January is a better idea then. Get passed Christmas and have it as a New Year's Boxer Bash then?

Please just verify with me that this is ok with everyone. And we need a date perhaps the weekend after the 15th? That would be the Saturday the 23rd of January 2005?
