TYS0NSM0MMA
Boxer Booster
Food Items, etc
Ok everyone here is what I have so far:
abbys mum 2 people, 2 dogs
Tysonsway 2 people, 2 dogs
Nemeia 2 people, 1 dog
lqueene 1 person, 1 dog
letty 2 people, 1 dog
Daisys_rjm 2 people, 1 dog
Comet_Hailey 4 people, 3 dogs
Brittain 2 people, 2 dogs
TYS0NSM0MMA 2 people, 1 dog (sable must stay at home unfortunately)
That gives us a total of 17 humanoids and 13 wonderful canines! I compiled that list with the info supplied to me, please let me know if your numbers change. I have been advised of no food allergies so unless someone speaks soon, we will assume that all food is open to bring.
I am trying to arrange from 1 until 5 or 6pm so we could do a late lunch if that is ok with everyone.
Also at this point I am going to restrict the numbers of dogs and people (within reason) I don't want to have to keep changing my numbers when she gives me a price. So advise me ASAP if things change. Obviously I understand if weather is an issue and you are unable to attend.
So for food we should have some suggestions, I can start the list with a few:
Veggies & Dip, Fruit Plate, perhaps some hot items like meatballs, or crockpot style foods. As said before I can provide the plates, cups, utensils and napkins. I also have appliances. A cooler with ice I can also provide. We will need some juice, pop, water, coffee and tea perhaps. Some dessert items always go over well. Please advise me of what you can bring. I understand that those travelling in cannot bring too much that can spoil so maybe we could allow those travelling a distance to bring some desserts and drinks? That way they will keep in the car. Also there are a fair number of you comming from the Ottawa Area, any chance of arranging a car pool or atleast a convoy? My thoughts are that travelling 5-6 hours is always nice to have someone following you incase something goes wrong. I also understand having unfamiliar dogs cooped up in a car together could get hairy! Just a thought though. I will make up some directions and email it to those who would like it. As well as I will email everyone to confirm everything closer to the date.
I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: Please make sure your dog is healthy before attending, I am aware that not everyone vaccinates due to health reasons, but everyone's health and safety is primary, we will all have to sign waivers when using this facility and I am giving ample warning of this now, so please nobody act surprised. I will be bringing some extra crates with me incase they are needed and there are some at the facility. Please also bring any supplies your dog may need, food, meds, etc. Also a good idea is to bring some first aid stuff with you (you never know) I myself have an ample supply of vet wrap and bandages from my 2 getting into it. Also a first aid kit for us might be a good idea. (I do have a valid first aid and CPR Cert. but I really do not want to have to use it!!)
Recap:
*Please remember waivers will be signed
*No Dog or people aggressive dogs
*Only healthy dogs are permitted
*Bring all your necessairy supplies for your furbaby
*NO KIDS NO EXCEPTIONS (the facility's policy)
*Please Post ASAP what item(s) you can bring for nourishment
*I have a coffee maker, kettle, coffee and tea(s) as well as sugar, milk, sweetener and can get some cream. I also have 3 crock pots, an indoor grill, and access to a hot plate if required. I can also bring a cooler with ice and all the plates utensils cups napkins etc.
*Correct any info that is wrong that I have posted
*Also think about bringing a donation for Boxer Rescue Ontario (Who I will be working with very closely for our Spring Bash/BBQ) I have asked them for a list and they have stated that good quality food would be well received, Ontario petstore gift certificates, crates, leads, collars, dishes, beds, good toys or any monetary donation you would like to give if you would rather do that. Please let me know what you will be bringing so I can get a list compiled for them.
Thanks for helping out guys this would not be possible without the love we all have for our babies. Please also don't think I am trying to be strict, I am merely relaying the things I have been told by the facility and have everyones health and safety in mind.
I am really looking forward to meeting everyone! Please give me regular updates
It gets lonely posting all by myself
