So glad to hear everything went well! We've been thinking about her. Good luck with the "calmness" factor. When Brewster was neutered he had to stay pretty calm for about a week and that was hard with just Adrienne around. So, I'm sure you'll have your hands full, but you're such a good mommy there's no doubt Bea will do just fine recovering!

I just read through this thread. What a lucky dog Bea is to have you as her guardian angel. I remember reading an article in The Whole Dog Journal about a group that provides money for emergency veterinary care. Their website is http://www.thepetfund.com/. I don't know if they could do anything to help out since the surgery has already occurred, but perhaps it would be worth looking into. We are all sending healing vibes to Bea.

Great news, Dora . I had to laugh at Mr. Rocky though. He is such a good big brother. I'm sure he will take care of her while she is getting better. She will probably be pretty calm at first since she has been used to that.... but I'm sure as soon as she starts healing and with the pain gone...well

She is one lucky bitch to have someone like you around when this happend. Anyone else would have either ignored or just passed her onto the vet and not returning.

You dont really need any advice you've already done more than enough and I wish you the very best of luck with what ever desicion you choose.

I've been following this thread for few days now.... and the first time I was reading it I was so close to tears (embarassing because I'm at work)... but I'm so glad your baby's surgery went well. You are an absolute angel for giving Bea a second chance in life. I'm sure you found a best friend and she will never forget all that you have done for her. My thoughs are with you and I hope the recovery is speedy so Bea can play with her new siblings.
