healthy weight for a 7 month old?

A question for Zeke's owners

How did you figure out that you were lied to. We think we may have been too. Oscar was smaller than his litter mates but when we got him home @ 7 weeks(what the breeder said) he was only 5lbs. and had no teeth. He is now almost 7 months(according to the breeders dates) and he weighs 39lbs. He is pretty lean but healthy.

I'm releived

My mom and others seem to think Belle is on the small side. She is weighing in at 32 pounds and will be 6 months old on the 8th of september. I think my vet put it best. She is healthy, happy and gaining weight consistantly on each visit. When she is full grown you will find out how big she is going to be. Of course I was worried so I came here to check with the experts. Now I am releived to find that she is about the right weight for her age and only time will tell. Thanks everyone, Todd & Belle

Abigail will be 7 months old the 12th of September and she weighs about 42 pounds right now. I'm guessing she will end up weighing somewhere around 65-70 pds or so when full grown. Brandy weighed 58 at 7.5 years old before she became ill. Abigial seems to already be out growing her. I feed her two cups Nutra Max puppy food in the morning and two at night.. barely anything from the table maybe chicken or something yummy. We're also in puppy classes right now so she is getting a few more treats than normal due to that..

Our baby Hammer will be 7 months old on the 10th of this month and he's only 35lbs, so I'd say you're ok! We spoke to the vet because we were concerned but he said there is nothing to worry about, he's healthy and happy and that's all that matters. I'm sure he'll have a huge growth spurt so we are enjoying him at his managable size! haha

How heavy will they get

My puppies are 6 months old. The girl is 44 pounds and the boy is 48.5. You can clearly see their rib outline. The girl more than the boy and they both get the same amount to eat. I think because boxers have short hair and are so muscular they look extra skinny. We feed 3.5 cups but they get lots of biscuits and other treats, nyla bones etc. We also feed them Nutro Max and Large Breed Puppy 1/2 of each which is supposed to be highly digestible. They are still gaining 1-2 pounds per week. My question is how much do you think their full grown weight will be and at what age? I have seen boxers over 100 pounds and boxers that were 55 pounds. The father was 80 and the mother was 55.

Penda's going to be 6 mos tomorrow, and she weight just under 41lbs! No fat...just muscle...and energy...lots of it!!!

Oh my, I never realized how much boxers vary in weight!!! This thread has actually made me feel better because we always thought our baby Porscha was too small. Porscha is 6 months old and weighs 38 lbs, but from what I have read that seems to be a pretty normal weight for female boxers her age.
