My Hubby is a very keen golfer. He never does anything with me over weekends - always just golf !

Well, I decided to join a Boxer Club, and entered for my first competition on 25/05/02. A month before the time I asked him if he would go with me, because the show was about an hour out of Jo'burg, and I did not want to drive by myself. He gave me his usual "I have a game booked".

I did not respond, except for Oh, OK, and left it there. I did not ask him again, and about two weeks before the competition, he asked me if I'm still going, and if I have found someone to go with me. I said "yes, I'm going, but still do not have anyone to go with". ( I lied, as my friend was gonna go with).

Anyway, three days before the BIG EVENT, he asked me again, and I gave hime the same answer. He phoned me about mid-morning, and said that he had changed his game, and would come with ! (This was a first in eight and a half years!)

We had a lovely day at the show, and he got more excited about Our Boy than me !!!!
