Foreign/Ethnic foods..what do you like? what's good?

I love Mexican, Thai, and Russian ( I am half Russian )

But I HATE Italian food Rosemary is the sickest thing ever. . . . WAIT I love pizza and garlic bread, those are the only Italian foods I eat, I don't like pasta

I love Chicken Korma (Indian) could eat it everyday, but not many other curry's!

I like Chinease but always feel sick afterwards because it is so greesy.

I love Pasta expecially Carbonara.

In fact I love most foods, lucky I have Elvis to walk alot of it off!!!!

Mmmmm...... Youv'e got me feeling hungry, I love pie n mash, I think Manzies eel and pie houses are just the best ever, thier liquor is better than any other I've tasted....I feel the need to go out and get double pie, and double mash now!!...I do love Italian too, but you can't beat good old fashioned English grub can you?

I grew up in a box.. I LOVE Italian (well since my Dad was off the boat Italian..I guess I would love Italian) Chineese is ok as is Mexican (not a big spicy food fan..I like spice but not burn your mouth hot)

As for the others I have never tried any..have never eaten Thai, Indian (hate the smell anyway..), Moroccan..none of it. I'd love to but its one of those things where I don't want to go to the resturant order it..and hate it, going home starving


I have had some traditional English meals but I don't know what they were called so maybe I have had Pie n Mash.

Fish and chips..ok I get the fish part are chips..like french fries? Help out an idiot..

I like traditional "poor people" food..shepards pie, American chop suey, chicken pot pie etc. OHHH and love love love Southern food..ONLY if cooked by a true Southerner!

I just love food Full Stop.. but i'll give you a run down of fav from each place.

Lamb Boonah or Rogan Josh (from the Indian)

Lemon Chicken or Chilly shredded beef (from chinese)

Spagetti Carbonara (from Italian)

ooooh and i like a nice chilly too but it's got to be quite hot!

Dharmadoodle - - - I sneaked out to the chippy at lunch time (i work in glasgow city centre) got fish and chips, two pickles and a bottle of bru.... total bliss!!!!!!

pie....... as in pastry with a filling.... like mince or stew or chicken!!!!

and mash .... mashed potatoe!

Pie and mash is a traditional London dish, real 'cockney' food, Its exactly what it sounds like, (minced beef pie, and mashed potato) and is served swimming in liqour, (a really thick green parsley sauce)..This great dish is sold in Eel and pie shops, where the tables are traditionally marble topped, and there are wooden benches to sit on, and if you're in a real traditional pie shop, they have sawdust on the floor!! If you don't fancy that you can have stewed eels in the same liqour...oohhh, my mouth is watering!!! It's an accuired taste, and you either love or hate it...but we all LOVE it!! Chips are the same as your french fries, only ours are thick cut, and fantastic in thickly buttered bread...a 'chip butty'

I am ethnically Irish and I do not recommend most of the dishes They boil eveything!
I love perogies- dough filled with potatoes and cheese, or whatever you want.
This past weekend we made Laham Ajeen. It is a Lebanese flatbread with meat and veggies on it. They are quite yummy. I ate something similar in Iraq. They had small bits of meat with tomatoes, tomatoe paste and pine nuts.
Also, East African food is really good if you like curry.
