i am SUPER PARANOID about anything that could cause fire...(curling iron, stove, running dryer when we arent home, people throwing cigarettes into grass, etc.) i think that's about it though...and my husband always gets irritated when i lock the screen door...safety first right??

My storm doors are ALWAYS locked.....all day long and night. Tell your husband to get over it....your keeping yourself safe and it's a good habit. :)

I also have a habit of putting all glasses in the dishwasher. DH and my son are always saying "where did my glass go now?" oops!

I never leave the dryer on if noone is going to be home!!! That is a no no!!!
If I drop change on the ground I wont pick it up if its not on heads..dont want anymore bad luck than what I have..(hehe). When I use to live with my roommate, she had 2 little boys...the youngest would always walk past my room and ask his mom why there was always change on my floor. One day my roommate told him to go in and turn it all heads up for me. I will try to kick it, vacumn over it, whatever I have to do until it turns heads up so I can pick it up. (heheheeh)

Ok Colleen your next...tell another weird habit.....

I specifically got a curling iron with automatic shutoff because I just don't trust myself sometimes. :p

Everything has a place in my house so everything needs to be put away. I absolulty cannot stand to see stuff lying about. Example: how some people will bring mail in and leave it on a table. That is a sure fire way to send me in a frenzy. LOL

I have to go down every isle in the grocery store even if I don't need stuff down that aisle. If I skip an aisle then I feel all out of sorts. :D

Here's one that is more of a common sense thing...but my husband's family is really bad about it....

*FOOD* I wont touch anything that has sat out of the fridge for more than an hour. His family would always keep left overs in the garage from christmas because its a really big family. Granted this is nebraska, but can you guarantee it will be below 38 degrees?? NO!! it took a long time to TEACH my husband safe food practices...also a really annoying thing that some people do is thawing meat out on the counter....HOW DANGEROUS!!

and picnic food--unless i get it right away, FORGET IT! nothing worse than salads (made with mayo or miracle whip) that sit out in 90+ degree weather in July....yummy...

Ok Mine are: I have to give a shove to the front door everynight before we go to bed to make sure it's closed. And we don't even use the front door! The clocks in the house have to change within 5 seconds of eachother.

I do the glasses thing, grocery store, double checking things that I know are locked...

Ah life is grand!!!

Okay I am going out on a limb here but I have met one other person that does this...When I pull a glass out of the cupboard I usually give it sniff to ensure cleanliness. Now there is a root to the problem...when my Husband (then Bf) lived with a bunch of of guys they did not always grasp the concept of changing the dish water! Bleck! So the glasses could get rather smelly! LOL! I still haven't been able to break that habit even though I use our dishwasher now and I know they are clean!
