I know this might sound weird, but if I eat peanut butter it HAS to be the extra crunchy kind! I can't even stand to eat the creamy peanut butter! My boyfriend thinks I'm a nut case, but hey at least my boxer still loves me! LOL
I also do the door locking thing especially at night when I'm home by myself. It'll be in the middle of the night and I'll wake up from having a dream that I didn't lock the door and I'll get up and go check in even though I knew it was a dream!

I never had any weird habits until a few years ago I took my first Food and Safety course(I've taken a few others since). Let me tell you when you learn about all the bacteria and how many food borne illness can actually be caused by very basic unproper hygiene it's enough to make you paranoid. So to my obsessions that are all.

#1 In a public bathroom I never touch anything with my bare hands after I've washed them. I use a paper towels to close the tap, open the door etc... how many people have you seen coming out of the stal and just leaving...now you know where those hands have just been!!!!:eek: Let's just say I also always have a bottle of hand sanitizer close by!

#2 I have trouble eating out, as I will watch the server's every move. If he picks up dirty plates and then comes right out with someone's order I KNOW he hasn't had time to wash his hands. If I do go out I much prefer a place where I can see the kitchen so that you can see if the basic hygienes are being respected.

weird habits

this might sound crazy........but........i always smell everything........food, my hands, something I have in my hand, anything........Im not sure why, but I have always done this, since I can remember! I always smell something before I eat or drink it, also. I dont want to eat or drink something that smells bad! The men in white coats are definitely coming to take me to the funny farm!!

The only thing im compulsive about is chapstick..LOL, i know it sounds funny but i cant help it (i dont even have chapped lips) I cant go anywhere without it if im doing housework i have it in my pocket and i probably apply every 10-15 min. I go through a tube of chapstick every 4 days, i just cant stand to have dry lips and i dont know why

Sounds just like my wife. Sheryl will go into a panic if she has forgot her ChapIce. It a small white tube that looks like a suppository.

hmmm....i do the paper towel in the public bathroom thing,the chapstick thing,the checking the door lock thing....
i also freak out if the sheets on the bed are tangled up-i can't sleep if they are messy.my b/f messes them on purpose argh!!!
i bring like 8 zillion too many poopoo bags with me whenever vegas and i go on a walk.i look like a bag lady.
vegas has a collarwith a skull and cross bones on it,my b/f always puts it upside down and i have to take it off and turn it around it cuz it drives me N.U.T.S.

Crystal you fit right in! I also carry the way too many poop bags and Dan is always putting their collars on upside down! I just have to fix them!!!! You should see when he dresses our daughter :rolleyes: I have to change her too! Not every shade of pink matches don't ya know! He is smart though as I never ask anymore!

these are so funny! I have one more, when I'm playing cards, I can't pick any of them up when someone is dealing until they are all on the table, sort of bad luck. Also no empty bottles on the table. How about, if you knock the salt shaker over, I have to throw it over my left shoulder!!!

The grocery isle thing is halarious!

i am weird about locking the doors. i check to make sure the door is locked about ten times before i go to bed (not really ten but close enough)...i have to lock both the locks then turn the handle then push the door back then i'm done.

i also am weird about things that could start fires...straighning iron, the stove, some lamps...and i won't leave the dryer, washer or dishwasher on (or anything for that matter) while i'm away.

that movie matchstick men was good. the end completely surprised me!

I am a disorderly person, so is Babu----so we don't have too many weird habits!!!! Except to check the stove now and then (I have kept it on too often).
But when it comes to public restrooms, especially if it concerns Royina, ( I try not too use public restrooms, if I can help it)----But if R goes to the restroom. I first go and spray disinfectant and then I wet tissue papers and wipe the top of the cover, spray disinfectant again and then put two layers of toilet paper and then allow her to sit, and then there is the ritual of washing hands.
