I just went to take Layla out for the last walk of the night and to lock all the doors before signing off and I started giggling to myself thinking of this thread!!! LOL!!! Of course, after giggling, I turned and checked the locks just one more time!!!

Carol is a clean freak. She has brow beaten me (pincushion icon here) until I wash my hands alot. With 3 kids, I have a lot of reasons to wash my hands. I have started doing it even when she is not around, and I never got sick before I started washing my hands so often.

Ok...I'll admit it...I also smell clean glasses when I pull them out of the cupboard. I went to take a drink of soda when I was younger and caught a wiff of sour milk. After I poured out the soda and checked the bottom of the cup, there was old, dried up, left behind milk in the bottom corner. YUCK! It's been 5 years since that, and I still check them.

I also check the locks tons of times, and I have to jiggle the knob before I leave, even though I know it's locked.

And I have another habit that my best friend thinks is hilarious. I picked it up from DH and just can't break it. When I'm sitting at a stop-light, sign, or am just stopped, I repeatedly make sure my car is in 1st gear.

DH swears I have an OCD over popping bumps, or anything that resembles a bump. If I see it, I have to pop it, or it will absolutely drive me batty.

If you could see my purse - hand wipes, hand sanitizer, toilet seat covers, chapstick. Always washing my hands. Never leave the house without brushing my teeth - doesn't matter if I just brushed them 20 minutes ago - I still brush again before I go out. I have a bad habit of leaving cabinets open once I get dishes, glasses, etc. out of them. I smell glasses also. Also check doors to make sure they are locked, shove them closed even after they are locked! Also hate the sheets messed up - my hubby will also mess them up on purpose! I probably could go on and on but I'll stop now! One more thing - will not walk barefoot on hotel carpet! Ok, now I'm stopping!

Ew I won't do that either. I also bring my own pillows and will not use hotel pillows. I don't really like staying in hotels too much because I'm such a germ freak.

Hotels pillows

I also bring my own pillows and blankets with me when I go out of town, not just to hotels, but EVERYWHERE!! even to my grandmother's house. It's just not the same if i dont have my own pillow!!

Okay I worked at a hotel and I will walk with out shoes (not without socks)but I would definitely bring my own blanket & pillow. The blankets are crappy and they are not washed every single time. The sheets are always fresh but most hotels do not wash the blankets under the cover/comforter daily! Just a thought.

I am so glad that there are now more people out there with the glass thing! My DH always laughs at me! After 9 years together and I still do it! Even at my Mom's house and she is a clean freak! Do you know how hard that is not to do when you are at a guest's house? LOL! Can you imagine! Maybe people should just smell their glasses to to ensure their visitors don't get a smelly one! LOL! Hey it would make my life easier

I won't sit on a public toilet if i must use one a do a hover pee, i wash my hands all the time. and when i'm tired i like to rub the dovet on my chin ye ok so i'm strange

Okay, first off, I amd SO HAPPY I'm not the only one who does some of this stuff!!

Chapstick-- always, have to have it! Constatly using it/trying to find one that will keep my lips soft for the longest amount of time.. I swear I was addicted to LipMedEx one time as I would use it every 10 min!!

Doors-- I always check the doors front and back and garage. However, I have a mental block with the front storm door... I dont lock it during the day (my DH is always yelling at me "you have to lock it, do you want a psycho coming in to kill you while your in the bedroom or something") But, at night I have to leave the storm door unlocked b/c my borther in law works at night and we dont have a key to the storm door, so during the day- storm door locked, night- storm door unlocked... this doesnt make sense to me... anyone?

Collar- Harley has a Harley Davidson Collar and DH ALWAYS puts it on upside down! You have to be able to read it! So i always change it.

Sunglasses-- If I get in the car and dont have my sunglasses I will pull back in the driveway and run inside and search for them... I feel like I cant see without them, If you wear sunglasses often, do yur eyes become sensitive to the bright light?

Cleaning the fridge! I'm nuts about this too... I hate if anything is expired or about to expire... if one piece of lettuce is not too green, the whole thing is in the trash.

Always need tidy blankets... even Harley does! I clean the blanket and towell in his crate at least once a week and I am constanly fixing them so that they are flat and neat. He doesnt seem to mind, I think he's cooler when they arent all up around him.

Also, last but not least, I have to put everything and anything that can go in the dishwasher in there! Trista's toys, teething rings, blocks, anything. And I always clean the counter and stove with Clorox clean up... even if DH uses something else, I go back and spray it with Clorox!

I see the men in white coats coming to get me too!
