I too am a cockney, & not everyone understands us if we talk fast.
Instead of words like - window, I would say - winda. Same for pillow - pilla. We don't pronounce the letter T, & like Britbox said, there's no such thing as H.
Also it's the TH, so as most would say - Thing, we would say - Fing.
BTW - Half our language is french from when the Norman's invaded - Battle of Hastings!
Then we have a mixture of Latin, & all other sorts thrown in for fun.
I saw an expert on tv once, & he said that the so-called 'Queen's English' isn't that old, & before that we all spoke in a South West England accent, like they still do in Cornwall. The new way came about as a fashion accessory, & that separated the rich from the poor. They found some truth in this by just reading Shakespear, as some of his words only rhyme if you read it with a cornish accent, so according to the experts, if you read Shakespear with the 'Queen's English', you're doing it wrong.
So now we need a new Shakespear film to be made with the right accent in it.
And we think we understand Shakespear now!!!
