Blue love the water. He'll climb in the tub or shower with you if he can. Loves the water hose and the toilet.

He also does the huffing and the woo-wooing. I couldn't figure out why he kept rooting all the food out of his bowl. After querying his former owner I found out that when Blue was a puppy, he had a very shiny stainless steel food bowl. He still roots the food out of the bowl looking for the doggie in the bottom. Goofball.

Completely Boxer Crazy
How funny!!!!! Apollo has found the mirror in the bedroom. I've only seen him ram his nose into it a few times, but Scott says that he'll stare at it for a few moments and then look behind it to find the other dog!!!!

They keep me laughing!!!!

Boxer Buddy
All of the above, but how about being VERY protective of his family...and how about being a sneak.....Harley grabs something and runs.....he also is very curious....has to know everything that is going on and he cries if you don't pay attention to him. He also likes have his chest on the ground and his butt up in the air when we play.....I just adore him....he's such a baby...and so loving.

Funny Traits

It amazes me that a breed can have "traits" like this. I laughed so hard reading all of the posts and thinking "yeah, that's Sam." Here are a few others:

When his jowls get caught in his teeth and he looks like something out of Alien!

Dreaming sounds & growling in his sleep.

Shaking so hard you think he's gonna knock himself over.

Cleaning himself like a cat.

Getting into ANY trash can (tissue is his favorite) and potted plants. I'll catch him and he'll look up at me w/the dirt falling off his jawls like "what me?"

Running off with something out of the closet (like a shoe) that he KNOWS he isn't allowed to have then giving me that look as if saying "Hey, cute puppy here needs some attention."

Dido on all the traits listed.....

Ozzy has lots of theml and seems to aquire them as he matures. He didn't kidney bean until about 3-4 months old and he just started chasing his tail in the last couple of weeks. Snoring was from day one and the gas isn't too bad, only once in a while. Bouncing up and down or off any stationary object and he's started "talking" when he plays. He doesn't make a "Woo Woo" sound at least not yet, but I'm waiting.

Traits

I love it when Enzo is dreaming, gorwling, barking.. things he dosen't do otherwise... I want to know what he is dreaming about. Another good one is when he wants to sniff another dog so bad that he wimpers and almost starts crying. Clumsy is the trait... I watch him run into things as he is playing, and also fall going up the stairs. What a good time to watch.

Absolutely Hilarious....

It's pretty amazing that all of our boxers have so many of the same traits. My Annabelle has most of the same traits. She kidney beans along with the best of them, snorts, farts, licks everything in sight, bounces off the ground like a spring.

The best one yet that I haven't seen here. When we have guests that haven't been introduced to the dog yet, she gets so excited outside that she literally jumps up about 5 feet in the air. With both feet bounces off the plate glass window and generally amuses our guests to no end. I've been worried about her hurting herself so I think I've stopped her from doing it anymore, but it was the most hilarious thing. All of a sudden a big ball of fur comes to about head height and bounces off the window.

Thanks for sharing all the traits all,

Marcos (Annabelles Dad)

My Jasper

My buddy Jasper is the same as all of the above. We are having only a little trouble right now because of his size and my kids. He comes running at them wanting to play and knocks them for a loop. I hope he enjoys it because before long, that won't be happening. I love him to death.:)

Re: Annibells dad

Bouncing off a plate glass window!!! I understand why you stopped it... I could see Enzo coming right through it. I have also found out that boxers are very obedient when they want to be, he will sit when I mean it, but other wise he will tilt his head and sneeze on me. I thought children were the only ones you would have to wipe their mouths after eating....:D As my mother called my Enzo "disturbingly loyal...."
