Boxer Traits

Boxer Booster
Here's an unusual trait that Buster has. He normally does his #2 "business" around the corner in the side yard (out of our view, I guess he's shy!). Sometimes when he's done he will come TEARING out like a bat out of hell. He will then run several laps around the yard at full speed. My wife and I think this is very funny. It sure looks like he's relieved....

Sometimes while I'm on the computer my boxer gets bored and does the poor me walk round and round the front room with his head a hanging low and cute little whines coming out of him. He is very spoiled.

we just love the "woo woo" song. The "frog" position is also one of our favorites. Unlike some others however, she LOVES to swim. Can't keep her out of our pool! If you'd like to see some photos of SMOOCHIE WIGGLEBUTT diving in the pool..send me a note...I'm happy to share them. Which reminds me...have you ever seen another breed 'wiggle' so much. There's nothing like returning home to our wiggling kissy face!
Today is our lil' girls 1st Birthday..we celebrated by letting her pick out some new toys at the shop. As I sit & type this she is wrapped around one of them sleeping.
She is the happiest & bossiest little beast on 4 legs!
Couldn't LOVE her anymore!

Common traits

Dempsey sighs heavily when he's disgusted or happy, kidney beans all to peices when he greets you, does the WooWoo song when he pushes his ball under everything until you retrieve it for him, bores a hole in your head with his eyes, curls up on the sofa, rests head on shoulder, or tries to sit on your shoulder, ( cant get close enough.} "boxes" you with front paws, lies on his back with his lips and mouth hanging open and his ears hanging down like some demented vampire bat after he's been wrestling with you, chews on the back of your head, or hair, trys to nibble up and down your arm like a corn cob when he wants you to do something and barks at anyone strange even if their across the street. We also fold his ears back so he can pretend to be a teddybear. Boxers are more fun than a whole toybox!

I'm so glad to hear that other boxers act like my prescious Alli. She's a 7 month old fawn female and she just funny!! Every night she runs around the house as fast as she can like something is chasing her. I wonder what's going through that head of hers sometimes. She also likes to roll around on the floor on her back, especially when we're trying to get her up so we can clean or sweep the floor. It's like she knows she's in the way and just wants to bother us. I love it when she flops down on the couch and lets out a big sigh, like she's had the roughest day of her life. She's completely spoiled, but we just love her to death. ;)

 Our Butkus loves to hug. We have seen were dogs are not suppose to like you to come close to their face, but not Butkus. He loves to hug. He will put his front legs on your shoulders and expect you to squeeze him. He even knows what hug means. He also loves to wrestle. I suppose this may seem like a really long hug.....
