Dixie has the same hair loss symptoms. The vet did bloodwork and the thyroid came back in the normal range. He also did a scrape on both sides and said that looked normal too. She is still a spaz and seems to feel completely normal...just looks a little funny. The vet gave me some supplement...
just ignore it...
Dixie is also on the small side (1 1/2 yrs. and 52 lbs.), but I know she's full Boxer. Let Roxy get that Boxer tongue going...then they'll know she's a REAL Boxer.
Can't wait
Dixie is soooooooo excited, well, actually I am. She's so full of energy right now. Any time this Saturday sounds good to me. Can't wait to see all these Boxers together.
Thanks for posting the directions, I've been at the office all day and unable to post them. The 20th sounds great. I'm only about 10 minutes from the park, so whenever it's convenient for everybody, we'll be there. My girlfriend and her 4 yr old will come too, so if anyone has "skin babies"...
evenings generally aren't good for Dixie and I, but weekends are good. We'll be out of town the next 2 weekends, but Aug 13 or 14 would be good to meet at the dog park. BTW, have you ever seen any other dogs there? The few times I've taken Dixie, it's been just us. Still lots of room for her...
I've been reading Boxerworld for quite a while now and finally got around to registering. I'm owned by Dixie, a one year old fawn female. Her best friends are my girlfriend's 4 year old daughter, a yellow lab and a rottweiler. She's looking to make some boxer friends though.
I live in Vestavia and would love to find other Boxers for Dixie to play with. I take her to Patriot Park in Homewood sometimes to run around and play. Let me know if Maverick wants to play, because right now her 2 best friends are a Yellow Lab and a Rottweiler. She needs some Boxer pals.
