Boxers and beer

As little as Sam is (and he takes his cues from our Chloe - who always tries to snatch people food/drink) he still tries to share a beer or wine with anyone who has it. We discourage this (and his penchant for trying cat food) as it's bad for his little system.

Max just LOVES beer... Any and all beers LoL. He doesn't care what kind it is as long as it's a beer. I don't usually give it to him, but sometimes I'll break and give him a sip or so... The dog goes crazy for it!

Thanks goodness we have understanding friends,,,,if a beer is placed anywhere on the ground,,,,,little miss Roxy knocks it over and starts to try and drink it....she has never gotten away with drinking the whole thing,,,,and I swear she can also smell it from miles away !!!

Sasha has a fetish for wine...if you don't give her any she will stalk you and your glass licking the outside just waiting for the opportunity to stick her tongue in the glass when you are not looking. Telmar is a beer boy....he wants to lick the top of the bottle and your mouth after you have drank it!

watch out!

My boxer girl will take any and every chance to knock over an even remotely unattended bottle of beer and drink it all up before the thirsty owner realizes what's happened. She's actually quite adept and sneaky at doing that too. I can't remember ever posting about the time she got drunk. My min pin and her escaped the yard one day and after about 2 hours of searching for them we found them in a neighborhood on another hilltop and she was drunk as a skunk. She had red blood-shot eyes, she was walking funny and burping like a champ. I would have laughed about it but then I thought of who the idiot was that was "serving" alcohol to a "minor" (she was only about a year old when that happened. A lap here and there isn't very good for them - I was scared when I thought about how much she would have had to drink to get that sloshed. She seemed fine though!

Now everyone who has been to our house before knows to keep at least one hand on their beer - or it'll be Sirens.
