that is exactly what i did last night, i did not crate him until 3 am bu I have never had a dog that plays in the middle of the night. scary!

I don't want to crate him at night but he was out of control running around and playing for hours last night in the middle of the night when I tried to do the no crate thing at night. I have to get rest. So i don't know what to do but crate him to keep him under control at 2 am.

Well, he can and has held his pee for 8 hours in crate I have had to leave him there a couple of times. He does not make a mess, the thing is I just feel so bad. If I know it is not mean, than i will feel better. I am not worried about the mess in the crate, which none so far, just the guilt.
