You know you own a Boxer if....

1) You have two jars of peanut butter - one for the pup and one for yourself

2) You place peanuts and carrots outside to attract squirrels and bunnies...all for you boxer's entertainment.

3) You tuck them in with lots of warm blankets when its cold out.

4) You heat up their food so that they can have a nice warm meal.

5) You find yourself talking baby talk and you have no children!!


I dont think I will ever be the same!!! LOL

- when you tell peole the forbidden words in the house that you only say if you are going to follow through. (walk, cookie, ride, outside)
- you cook fancy meals for your babies and you eat a bowl of cereal


I am so gald to have found this web site when we adopted our baby! No one in my family understands us! It's so awesome to have normal people to talk to about the silly things our babies do that make us love them so much more! When my family starts talking about baby things (feeding, clothes, funny things said/ done etc.) I start right in and get looks like "you guys are weird, it's a dog" But you know what I don't care!

Or when grandma calls and she says how are the dogs? THEN says how are the kids?

Or when you accidetally bump the "cookie" jar and they hear you and you were just wiping the counter but they are sitting right behind you expecting their treat.

Or when you are eating dinner and you see huge bubbles of slobber hanging from droopy cheeks which of course leads to "never eating anything without breaking off a piece."

Or when you come out of the bathroom to find them looking forlon at being "left" and laying right in front of the bathroom door.

All those things about Boxers are so true. Once you have
Boxer other breeds are not the same. Thank you for the LOL's.

We can't get away with that anymore; 2 of our 4 have learned how to spell. We changed RIDE to "EDIR", which they caught on to as well. TREAT is now "T's", but one is picking up on that also.

Too darn smart for their own good, they are! LOL
