My husband named Boss after Boss Mustang because it had to do with Fords or racing. And I just liked Gracie.

Aphrodite...unfortunately came with that name and refused to be called anything else. Skynyrd...Lynyrd Skynyrd, of course, and his tail was skinned in an accident which put a funny spin on it.

Rascals full name is Waggs Little Rascal. We thought is sounded like a racehorse. He is for sure living up to his name they way he races around the back yard!!

We named Piper, Piper b/c I'd read in a magazine about a little girl with that name. I told DH that if we ever had anothr little girl (meaning a HUMAN baby!) I'd name her that. Well, when we got Piper last week, it was the name voted in. She is more laid-back & not quite as feisty as the name seems to invoke but she has her moments where she likes to get her wiggles out, so...!

he he had a few gigles reading some names for boxers on here.i have two sons named Mason and Logan and both their names have been used. we had a boxer named Georgie,alot think it was for georgie girl but alas nope,for those british members out there she was named after the dog George from the colemans adverts (as i always wanted that dog he was yummy)but we had a girl boxer instead so out of the window went the names george and coleman so we got Georgie!! she now lives with a friend as we didnt have the time to tend to her every wim(i have 4 small children and a hubby that works away)would have a boxer anyday of the week lovely dogs.xx

We named Maverick off of the Movie Maverick with Mel Gibson, Our Maverick is full of it just like Mel Gibson in the movie. He will bark but if you come close he will run for it. Hes getting a little braver as he gets older..

We named Xander b/c I thought 'Alexander the Great' was a great name for a great dog 
And we haven't 'officially' named Bailey. But we both seem to agree on it. I think it will stick when she comes home (shes only 3 weeks old and can't leave mommy yet). When Xan was a 'little' puppy it didn't seem to fit him, but now hes growing into it so well

We named our boxer baby Oberon
Oberon is our boxer baby. My husband wanted a German name for him, and its soo funny and somewhat sad that we spent more time looking through baby books for his name than for the name of our 3d daughter who'll be joining us in June.
Oberon means "Highborn and bearlike". Thought it fit since hes full blooded and his momma weighs around 70 lbs and daddy weighs 135.
